My curls were popping the whole trip to Colorado and I am about to spill all the secrets on how I achieved my defined and hydrated curls and how you can achieve the same definition and volume using Fanola products on your hair type as well!!
Y’all ready for the secrets? Here we go!! I’m back with an entire hair blog covering all things Fanola!! I am super excited about this because I have been using their purple shampoo for a hot minute and it has worked WONDERS for my blonde hair. I really wanted to create this post because I for one know exactly what it feels like to be on the search for hair products that truly benefit your hair for months and still come up empty. I have tried so many different brands and some literally strip out all the oils in my hair and make it to where I can’t even get a comb through my curls, but Fanola has been COMPLETELY different.
Fanola is a hair brand that was created in Australia to ensure that both hairdressers and us retailers can use the best products on our hair. They have shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, hair oil, and all the purple shampoos and conditioners you could ever need to make sure that your blonde has no yellow anywhere in it!
Fanola sent me a Vegan No Yellow Shampoo Hair Care Package and I want to go through what each product is for.
This little bottle of goodness is called the Nutri Care Restructuring Spray Mask and I am OBSESSED with it! This spray can literally be your answer to ten problems that I know your hair gives you. Personally, I like to use this right after I shower on my damp hair and it helps to deeply nourish the curls, hydrate and reconstruct instantly, makes your hair soft & silky, serves as a heat protectant, and gives you some tone and volume. The reason that I LOVE this spray is because not only does it help keep my frizz to a minimum, but it also helps keeps my split ends under control, helps enhance and protect the hair color, and speeds up the hair drying process which is PERFECT for the people like me that prefer to air dry rather than blow dry!
Next up is this watermelon hair oil which is known as their Nutri Care Restructuring Fluid Crystals! This stuff literally smells heavenly and makes my hair feel heavenly too. I’m not sure if you know, but aloe vera is good for your hair and this product is actually I love this product a lot because it helps keeps the frizz to a minimum and it takes care of any dryness or dullness that your hair may have. Not only that, but I love for my curls to shine and these crystals make them POP, so I definitely recommend this product if you have drier hair like me.
They also sent me two different kinds of shampoo and conditioner: one set strictly for maintaining the no – yellow streaks in your hair and then one set strictly to help reconstruct your hair, so here we go!!
I first tried the no-yellow shampoo in their white bottle awhile back and loved it so much! I have a post on how I incorporated it into my routine with other products, so click this picture to check it out!
They came out with a BRAND NEW purple shampoo, so you know I had to try it out sooner or later. The vegan no-yellow shampoo and the no-yellow conditioner (pictured above) are AMAZING!! Seriously, the way it takes away the yellowness in my hair is honestly mind-blowing. I truly feel as if the no-yellow shampoo and mask is one of the bests that I have ever tried. You may want to use some gloves of you will be walking around with some purple hands lol! Anywho, after I apply the shampoo in, I usually just let it sit for about three minutes just to make sure it’s all good. After I rinse it out, I go ahead and section my hair off again and then apply the hair mask to each section. I like to leave this bad boy on for about five to eight minutes simply because I LOVE the silverish, no-yellow look it gives my hair.
After I use the no-yellow line, I like to go in with the hair restructuring mask! This bad boy literally feels so good, soft, and light. I like to use this right after the purple line just because I like how it makes my hair feel after. It helps detangle, it helps rehydrate the curls, and it just helps it get the shine and definition that we all want and need! Not only that, but it smells DELICIOUS and it has a LOT of product in the bottle, so it will last a hot minute!
Lastly, I have both the restructuring shampoo and the restructuring conditioner. It smells super sweet and delicious and it literally makes your hair feel so refreshed. If you have super dry, frizzy, and a lot of split ends, then your hair will seriously love this because this shampoo and conditioner is made ideally for your hair! It has linseed oil and has some milk protein in it so it works to make sure that your hair is actually getting remoisturized and smooth.
In the end, this entire line is more than spectacular for all different hair types. I have super curly hair and my curls have done nothing but LOVE this line. The restructuring spray is one of my favorite pieces in this line along with the no-yellow shampoo and mask! Seriously, if you have not tried this brand out yet, you truly need to because your hair will literally thank you for it!!
Here are some pictures of my hair after I used the Fanola products and allowed my hair to air dry in some super cold weather when we were in Colorado. My curls were POPPIN and I couldn’t be more happy with the results! Seriously, the definition that it truly gives your hair is actually mind blowing, so I would HIGHLY reccomend this bad boy for all of my curly girls out there!
