Growing up, I remember seeing a Nikon camera in my dads office. When he wasn’t there, I would take that bad boy all around the house snapping away at anything and everything just trying to get in touch with the inner photographer in me lmao. As I continued to get older, I started to become more aware of photographers and thought how cool it would be to be able to do that myself one day. So, after watching my older cousin do absolutely amazing at this photographer hobby, I decided I should just go for it myself. I asked for the Sony A6000 for Christmas and thankfully, I received it! The moment i opened that present I knew I was about to start the hobby of a lifetime and since then I have been fulfilling the photographer in me! Here are a few pics that I took from Christmas Day lol. They may not be the best, but you have to start somewhere right?
This is my best friend Kierra! We have been the best of friends since the sixth grade believe it or not!
This is my Pappaw aka the best steak cook ever and his brother Kenneth! My Pappaw was in the Korean War & my Uncle Kenneth was in WWII. This was our first Christmas without my Mammaw (his wife), but we made sure to make it a good one!
Here is a picture with my mom, my brother, and my Pappaw! My brother lives in Minnesota and comes to Texas probably twice a year, so when he is here it is a MUST that we get a family picture together! The next picture is with my Seester Taylor (left), my cousin Deja (middle) & myself!
Now for one of my favorite parts of the holidays, the food. So, if you didn’t know my parents are divorced so that means double the holidays! So for lunch that day we had Prime Rib, Creamed Corn (recipe coming soon), Homemade mashed potatoes, and a whole lot of Hawaiian Rolls lol.
Later that night, I went over to my Dad’s house for some fried turkey, yams, mac & cheese, and some banana pudding as dessert (scroll for pic)! I wish y’all could understand how delicious this all is, but you will just have to take my word for it lol.
