The Best Jalapeño Popper Dip!!

The best Jalapeño Popper Dip that I have made multiple times over the Holidays is now here so that y’all can enjoy too!  It is legit EVERYTHING, even Fred and my brother LOVED it.  It is super simple to make and will be finished in no time!

Here is everything that you need to get started:

Italian Bread Crumbs

Either 1/3 or 1/2 a cup of mayo

1/2 a cup of sour cream

2 (8 oz.) packages of cream cheese, softened

A bag of Pepper Jack Cheese

A bag of Sharp Cheddar Cheese

4 oz. can of diced Jalapeño peppers, drained (You can honestly add in two cans if you like really spicy food!)

Once you have both of the cream cheeses softened, then you will want to put it in a microwave-safe bowl so that you can mix it with the sour cream and mayo.  When the cream cheese is in the bowl, you will want to add in 1/2 a cup of sour cream and then either 1/3 or 1/2 cup of mayo.  I’m only saying 1/3 cup of mayo because it can be a little strong and if you don’t like mayo, then you will most likely want to do the 1/3 cup of mayo instead.

Once everything is all added into the bowl, then you will want to mix it all together.  I used a hand blender just to get the cream cheese mixed in really well with the mayo and sour cream, but you could simply mix it with a spatula or spoon if you do not have a hand mixer.  After everything is mixed together, then you will want to add your pepper jack and cheddar cheese.  I added about 1/2 a cup to 2/3 cups of both the pepper jack and cheddar cheese.

After you added in the cheese, then you will want to add in the can of diced jalapeño peppers.  Make sure that you have drained the jalapeño peppers before you add them into the cheese because the liquid will mess up the consistency of the dip when it is finished if the juice is not drained out.

Once all the cheese and the jalapeño peppers are added into the bowl, then you will want to mix it together with the cream mixture that you made earlier.  After everything is mixed together, then you will want to put the mixture in the microwave for about 3-4 minutes.  This allows the cheese to melt into the cream mixture and just make it easier to transfer into your pan to prep for the oven.

After you get the mixture out of the microwave, then you will want to transfer it into an oven safe pan.  I used a glass one, but I found a foil type of pan that is the perfect size that you could definitely use too.  Once you have put the mixture in the oven-safe pan, then you will want to layer the top with the pepper jack cheese.  I also layered mine with a little bit of cheddar cheese on the top too and it tasted so good lol!  After you have layered the cheese on top, then you will want to sprinkle the Italian breadcrumbs on top.  I used enough to cover all of the cheese and then I put it in the oven on the broil setting.  I did the low broil just so the mixture could get a bit reheated and so that the breadcrumbs didn’t burn too fast.

I obviously was not watching it closely hence the breadcrumbs being burnt lol, but it is still so good!  The taste is amazing, not too spicy, and depending on how many people you are sharing with, it may be gone in the same day lol.  You can eat it with Nacho Doritos or even some regular tortilla chips, but the Doritos just make the taste POP!  This dip is seriously perfect for any occasion and honestly one of my favorites, so make sure y’all try it out and let me know how much you love it!

That is all I have for this recipe today, but make sure you subscribe to the blog because I will be adding a ton of recipes to the blog this year.  Thank you so much for checking out the best Jalapeño Popper Dip and I will be back tomorrow with a whole new blog, so see y’all tomorrow!
